FCS Pulse

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

Who operates FCS Pulse

FCS Pulse is a free mobile app for following FCS football scores, schedules, favorites, notifications, and media. This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of FCS Pulse (“FCS Pulse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FCS Pulse Android or iOS app and related public pages on fcspulse.com.

FCS Pulse does not require normal end users to create an account or sign in.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

We do not collect precise location, payment information, contacts, or photos through FCS Pulse. We do not use advertising IDs for advertising.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

Local device storage

FCS Pulse stores some information on your device so the app can work offline or remember your choices. Examples include favorite teams, notification preferences, followed games, cached sports content, and whether you dismissed an in-app announcement. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes local data from that device.

Backend storage

When notifications or sync features are used, FCS Pulse stores related device, preference, favorites, and followed-game information on our backend hosted by Supabase. Voluntary feedback and media submissions are also stored on that backend so we can review them.

Normal users do not create a password-based account. Device-linked data is associated with the app-generated device ID for that installation.

Push notifications

Push notifications are optional. If you enable them, we use your device ID, push token, preferences, favorite teams, and followed games to send relevant alerts. On Android, delivery may involve Expo’s push service and Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. On iOS, delivery may involve Expo’s push service and Apple Push Notification service.

You can change notification preferences in the app or disable notifications in your device settings.

Voluntary submissions and feedback

If you submit feedback, suggest media, or suggest a creator update, you choose what to send. That content may be reviewed by FCS Pulse and may include contact details you provide so we can reply or follow up. Submitting a form is optional and is not required to browse scores or media.

External links and third-party content

FCS Pulse displays sports information and media links from third-party sources. The app may fetch publicly available content from services such as ESPN, Hero Sports, and The Analyst. Opening a creator or news link (for example YouTube, Spotify, X, or a publisher website) may take you outside FCS Pulse. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. FCS Pulse does not send your account credentials to those content sources, and normal browsing of scores or media does not require you to log in to FCS Pulse.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate FCS Pulse. The main ones involved in processing information for the consumer app are:

These providers process information on our behalf to provide the app’s features. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting SDKs in the FCS Pulse mobile app.

Data retention

We keep device-linked preferences and voluntary submissions while they are needed to provide FCS Pulse, review submissions, or handle requests. When you ask us to delete personal data and we can locate it, we delete it except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or records of completed deletion requests.

Data deletion requests

You may request deletion of personal data associated with your use of FCS Pulse. Instructions are available at https://fcspulse.com/delete-data/.

You can also email with enough detail for us to identify the data you want deleted, such as an email address used on a form submission or other information that helps us find the relevant device or submission records.

Security

FCS Pulse transmits data to our backend over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

FCS Pulse is a general-audience sports app. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

No sale of personal information

FCS Pulse does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-app or third-party advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and post the updated policy at https://fcspulse.com/privacy/. Continued use of FCS Pulse after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
